Frequently Asked Questions
How do I connect my Google Drive?
When you first open ezgy, you'll be prompted to connect your Google Drive account. Click "Connect Google Drive" and authorize the app to access your music files. We only request read-only access to your files.
What music file formats are supported?
ezgy supports common audio formats including MP3, FLAC, AAC, OGG, WAV, and M4A. Your files are streamed directly from Google Drive, so no downloads are required.
Is my data secure?
Yes! Your privacy is our priority. We only access your music files with your explicit permission. All connections are encrypted, and we never store your music files on our servers. Your data stays in your Google Drive at all times.
Can I create playlists?
Yes! You can create custom playlists, organize your music by mood or genre, and save your favorite tracks. Playlists are stored locally on your device.
Why can't I see my music files?
Make sure your music files are in your Google Drive and that you've granted ezgy permission to access them. Try disconnecting and reconnecting your Google Drive account if files aren't appearing.
Does ezgy work offline?
Since ezgy streams music directly from Google Drive, an internet connection is required for playback. However, you can access your playlists and library information offline once they've been loaded.
How do I revoke access to my Google Drive?
You can revoke access at any time by going to your Google Account settings → Security → Third-party apps with account access. Find ezgy and click "Remove access".
